Neal Mitchel Sexton was the son of Robert (1846–1906) and Florinda (Newport) Sexton (1859–1894). He married on 23 Nov 1904 to Alpha M Sarratt/Surratt (1885–1961). He was a miner and died young of Typhoid, leaving a very young (pregnant) widow and two sons. His widow remarried on 15 Jun 1915 to Edward C. Hamilton and later relocated from Tennessee to New Jersey. CHILDREN: Robert Mitchell (1905-1974), Carl Randolph (1908-1983) and Edward N. (1910-1981) - SEXTON.
