Funeral services for Thomas G. Schissel, age 35, were held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato, Wednesday, April 5, 1972. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
Thomas died Saturday evening in Duluth. Death was attributed to circulatory and respiratory failure due to an accidental overdose of medication.
He was a graduate of Adams High School and had nearly completed courses for a Bachelors Degree at Mankato State College. He had recently accepted a position in advertising sales with ESIO Television station in Duluth.
Surviving are his wife, LaDonna; two sons, John 13 and Michael 3; a daughter, Rebecca 11; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Schissel, Winona; three brothers, John Schissel, Des Moines; Dr. Richard Schissel, William Schissel, Minneapolis; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Sack; Mrs. Robert (Mary) Paymar, Mrs. Joseph (Jane) Sockalosky, Minneapolis.
