In 1844, he married a girl from Vermont, named Sylvia. They were blessed with 4 children, all born in New York state.
By 1860, however, the Manns moved to Concord township, in Jefferson County, Wisconsin.

Mr. Mann and family were residents of this city for twenty years, moving here in 1895 and settling in Logan. Deceased was 85 years of age at the time of his death.
