Peggy Palmerton, 58, of Fairbury passed away in Lincoln, on July 19, 2014. She was born October 27, 1955 at Hastings, Neb. Her parents were Samuel and Joanne Engelhardt Ellis.
She is survived by daughters, Angela Keim and Marty Rhoades, Michelle Decker and husband Kirk; and son, Zachary Palmerton and Emily Karnish; 11 grandchildren; sister-in-law, Donna Ellis.
A Celebration of Peggy's life will be Thursday, July 24, 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury, with Pastor Fay Hubbard officiating. Interment: Fairbury Cemetery. Dress in Nebraska Cornhusker attire or red. Memorials are to the family's choice. Family will greet friends on Wednesday from 6:30-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
