NATHAN BIRDSEY PECK was the only child of BIRDSEY & FRANCIS ANN (GILBERT) PECK. His father died when he was about 5 - 6 years of age. He might have lived with a relative and relocated to New York at some time.
He married RHODA ANN WHEELER, daughter of DR. DANIEL & RHODA WHEELER, on 19 Dec 1831. He was a tailor and his store, NB PECK, was located on Main Street of Cincinnatus.
Their children were: Frances A. "Fanny" (Peck) Kinney, Helen Jane Peck (died at age 2), Birdsey Peck, Helen Jane (Peck) Moore, Caroline & Catherine Peck (twin girls who died at age 9), ELBERT ELI PECK (my ancestor), and Hezekiah Gilbert Peck.
