He was a right handed pitcher making his debut for the Brooklyn Atlantics on May 1, 1884. For two seasons, he played with the Brooklyn Atlantics (1884) and Providence Grays (1885). On October 4, 1884, he pitched a 10 inning no hitter against the Toledo Blue Stockings with game ending in a 0-0 tie, after it was called because of darkness.
