ROSALIE (CATANZARO) LEONE
Rosalie Leone, 64, of Lewiston, NY, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 6, 2004.
Born February 18, 1939, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Louise (Scozzafava) Catanzaro.
She grew up on Memorial Parkway and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
Her family said she was graceful, elegant and a beauty who brought out the best in everyone she met.
A devout Catholic, Mrs. Leone cared foremost for the well-being of others, the family said.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Joseph L.; a daughter, Lisa Leone-Hassen of New York City; three sons, Joseph V. of New York City and James S. and John A., both of Lewiston; two brothers, Vincent Catanzaro of Niagara Falls and Thomas Catanzaro of Lewiston; a sister, Jeanette Palumbo of Lewiston; and three grandchildren.
