---Carrall B. Allen, 95, of Albion died on Sunday, July 6, 2014 in Albion.
---Mr. Allen was born on June 28, 1919 in Richmond, Virginia to Carrall H. and Florence E. (Pierce) Allen. He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1937. On October 15, 1948 he married Gladys L. Owens-Mundey in Byron, Ohio. She preceded him in death in 2004.
---Mr. Allen was a truck driver for over 30 years with the E &L Transport hauling cars for the Ford Motor Company across the United States. He was a member of Marshall Moose Lodge #676, Fraternal Order of Eagles for over 50 years, the National Rifle Association Golden Eagles, Sheriff's Auxiliary, and a life member of the Teamsters Local #299. Mr. Allen was an experienced pilot, and he loved to fly in his PT 19 and Navy Recognizance SNB1.
---He is survived by his daughter, Virginia J. Allen of Kentwood; daughter-in-law, Kathy Allen of Wasilla, Alaska; several grandchildren; brothers, Robert Allen of Portsmouth, Virginia and Clyde Allen of Largo, Florida; sisters, Ruth Halick of Battle Creek and Betty Hawthorne of Bedford. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son David Allen; his brothers, Arthur and Joseph Allen; and his sister Dorothy Allen in infancy.
---Visitation will take place at the Craig Kempf Family Funeral Homes, Marshall Chapel, 723 US 27 North, Marshall, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 with family present to greet friends from 4-6pm. A private interment will take place at Oakridge Cemetery
