Funeral services for James Downing Henry , 39, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Ertel Memorial Chapel and burial was in the Cortez Cemetery.
The rites were conducted by Rev. J. Wayne Schwindt.
Mr. Henry, who was a resident of Jefferson County, Colo, died Friday in Lutheran Hospital in Denver, after a short illness.
He was born Feb. 5, 1936 in Cortez and attended schools here. He was a graduate of the University of Colorado. A mechanical engineer for the Bureau of Reclamation, he was a member of the Arvada Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Henry, and sons, James Henry and Michael Henry, all of Arvada. His parents were the late Jim and Lucile Henry of Cortez.
Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Socety."
