COOPER, MR. LUTHER H. 2381 Nord Rd., Fruitland Twp. - Mr. Luther H. Cooper, age 59, passed away Sunday morning at his residence after a brief illness. Born in Muskegon he had lived in the area all his life. He worked for the Public Works Department for the City of North Muskegon for 8 years. He married the former Jennie Black June 9, 1935 in Muskegon. She survives him. Also surviving are 5 sons, Garth, Oscar and James, all of Muskegon, Luther of California and William of Ft. Hood, Texas; 5 daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lynett) Willea, Mrs. David (Edith) Schaub, Mrs. Danny (Sarah) Phillips and Mrs. Douglas (Lucy) Devries, all of Muskegon and Mrs. Jack (Susan) Elder of Sand Lake; 25 grandchildren; one brother, Charles of Holton, and 1 sister, Mrs. Raymond (Emma) Gould of Muskegon. The service for Mr. Cooper will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock from the Clock Chapel with the Rev. Donald Le Maire officiating. Interment will be made in Fruitland Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clock Funeral Home beginning this evening.—Clock.
