Michael I. Jarnigan, age 56, of Newport, died Tuesday evening at the Newport Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Jarnigan, son David, special friend Shirley Ledford, and grandson Dillon Jarnigan.
He is survived by his wife Vickey Jarnigan of Newport; sons Shan Jarnigan of Newport, Michael (Chrystal) Jarnigan of Bybee, and Robbie (Jackie) of Augusta, GA; mother Margaret Jarnigan of Newport; step-daughter Amanda Farmer; step-son Shannon Campbell of Newport; grandchildren Brittney, Blade, Bradley, Macy, Ty, Kendrick, Luke, Junior, and April. Also several nieces and nephews, and special friends Larry Dale Stanley, Martin Ramsey, and Albert Green.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Owenby officiating.
