Ersa Mae Combs, age 81, of Attica, Michigan passed away October 27, 2004.

Ersa Mae Deaton was born the daughter of William and Luna (King) Deaton November 5, 1922 in Breathitt County Kentucky.

Ersa married George Elbert Combs on September 21, 1939 in Vicco, Kentucky.

Mr. and Mrs. Combs worked side by side all of their lives until George's death on October 27, 1998.

Ersa was survived by her children: Gillis (Faye) Combs of Port Austin, Michigan, Doug (Carol) Combs of Imlay City, Michigan and Teresa (the late John) Smith of Attica, Michigan.

Mrs. Combs adored her 6 grand children Christopher combs, Matthew combs, Kevin Combs, Jeff Combs, Cindy Smith and Wendy Smith and her 7 great-grandchildren.

Ersa was preceded in death by her husband George Combs, parents William and Luna Deaton and sister Flossie Goodin.

Funeral: Church of Christ in Lapeer, Michigan. Pastor Jerry Brackney and Pastor Steve Ennis officiated.
