DILLON—Services for Annie Elizabeth Alford will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethel AME Church with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. House of Thomas Funeral Home is in charge. Mrs. Alford died July 4, 2001.
Born in Dillon, she was a daughter of the late Ben Alford Sr. and Lizzie Alford McDaniel. She was a member of Bethel AME Church where she was active with the Soup Kitchen and the Missionary Board. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club.
Surviving are a sister, Mamie Rivers; stepsister, Miriam Daniels; several nieces and nephews.
