James Eugene "Gene" Scott, 63, of Dickinson,
Texas, passed away July 8, 2009, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday,
July 12, 2009, at First United Methodist Church of Dickinson, 200 F.M. 517 West, Dickinson, Texas.
Gene was born August 15, 1945, in Houston, Texas. He was a Senior Engineer with Hamilton Sunstand at the Johnson Space Center. He was a member of the Texas State Rifle Association and the National Rifle Association.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Elbert Scott, his mother, Cecile Scott and a brother, Steven Scott.
Survivors include his wife Elsie Scott; his daughters Jennifer Scott, Heather Ramsey, Andrea Bonney; his brother Bruce Scott and wife Christine; his sister Susan Kutra and husband, Steve; stepson Michael DeDear and wife Joan; and his four grandchildren.
