Played several position over his 13 year career primarily as a catcher. He began in 1893 with the Pittsburgh Pirates until 1897. He was traded to the St. Louis Browns for the 1898 season and went to the Cleveland Spiders the following season. In 1901, he played with the American League champion Chicago White Sox in 1901. The St. Louis Browns purchased him again in 1902 and played until 1905. He played again in 1912 with the Detroit Tigers for one game. After his career, he went on to scout for the St. Louis Cardinals organization. (bio by: Robert)
