Wilma graduated from Galveston High School in 1946. She was employed for a number of years at Morgan's Pharmacy in Carmel, Indiana. Prior to returning to Indiana she and her husband owned and operated Michael's Trailer Park in Russellville, KY. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and dominos, and a variety of crafts. One of her favorite things to do was prepare a wonderful meal for large family gatherings. Wilma truly enjoyed her time with Precious the family cat.
She is survived by her children: Janis (Jr.) Malott of Avon Park, Florida; Sharon Arnold of Owensboro, Kentucky; Gary (Jane) Ver Bryck of Tipton, Indiana, Roger (Betzs) Ver Bryck of Anderson, Indiana and a sister Ellen (Mark) Ellerbrook of Galveston, Indiana Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 2 sisters in law: Lois Scott and Jackie Scott. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy , two sisters: Joan Ingle and Jeanette Griffin, two brothers: Russell Scott and Larry J. Scott, a son, Grey Ver Bryck, and a grandson, Danny Malott.
A 12:00 PM funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday July 2, 2014 at the Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North Street in Tipton, IN with Clint Moore officiating. Calling is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM same day of services. Interment will take place in Galveston I.O.O.F. Cemetery located in Galveston, IN.
