Motion Picture Director. In 1897, in Paris, he discovered the cinema and the George Méliès films. He was a pioneer in the Spanish cinema, and like Méliès or Griffith, he died poor and unknown for the new generations. Among others, he directed "Choque de Trenes" (1902), "Gulliver en el País de los Gigantes" (1903)(one of the first cartoon films), "La Flûte Enchantée" (1906), "Boda de Alfonso XIII" (1906), "Cuisine Magnetique" (1906), "Satan S'Amuse" (1907), "Cauchemar et Doux Rêves" (1908), "El Hotel Eléctrico" (1908), "El Pobre Valbuena" (1910), "Pulgarcito" (1911), "Barcelone, Principale Ville de la Catalogne" (1912), "Les Aventures d'un Petit Homme" (1912) and "La Guerra e il Sogno di Momi" (1917). He died in Paris and was buried in Cimetière Parisien de Pantin but five years after, his remains was moved to a commun fosse.
