Leona Irma Borgschatz, 97, of West Saint Paul, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2014.

She was born December 23, 1916 in Eden Township of Brown County, Minnesota to Rev. Paul E. and Eugenia Amelia (nee Luethe) Horn. Leona graduated Zumbrota High School in 1935 and married Elmer A. Borgschatz in 1938.

She is survived by daughters; Mary Jean (Richard) Duquet, Eva Jane (Bruce) Kafka, and Linda Louise (Douglas) Franklin, son; Rev. James Paul (Janet) Borgschatz, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Leona loved her LORD, and lived out her devotion as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be forever cherished.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10: 30 AM Saturday, June 21 at St. James Lutheran Church, 460 Annapolis Street W. West Saint Paul, Minnesota, with visitation beginning at 9:30. Interment will be in Zumbrota Cemetery, Zumbrota, Minnesota. Memorials to the Church or Donor's choice are preferred. Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, Apple Valley.
