Mattis E. Kursch, age 72 years, of Funston St., died Sunday in the St. Vincent Medical Center. A machinist, he retired from the Jeep Corp. where he had been employed over 30 years. Mr. Kursch was a decorated Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his daughter, Carol Shelton; sister, Ruth Wammes of Fremont, OH'; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Thomas I. Wisniewaki Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd. (between Central and Bancroft) after 6 p.m. Monday where services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
