After William Goodson's murder in Aug,1831,she married Ambrose Fitzgerald Jr Oct, 1833, Habersham County, Ga. She drew an 1812 War Pension as a widow. In it her maiden name is given as Jackson, On her and Ambrose's son William's death certificate his mother's maiden name is listed as Sarah Jackson.
