Ethyle Mae Flickinger, 88, of Hubbard died of a stroke Monday at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Services were March 9 at Salem United Methodist Church in Hubbard, of which she was a member. Burial was at Hubbard Cemetery.

Mrs. Flickinger was born in Union and had lived in Kanahwa, Alden, Hubbard and Ames before returning to Hubbard in 1971. She had farmed with her husband and had operated a hardware store in Kanawha with her first husband. She was a member of New Horizons Club.

She is survived by two sons, two stepdaughters, a sister, seven grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Wilford Hoelscher and Harold Flickinger. Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard handled arrangements.
