Born April 5, 1905, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Miriam Starliper Foreman.
She was a life member of Second Lutheran Church.
She was a 1925 graduate of the former Cumberland Valley State Normal School, now Shippensburg University.
A schoolteacher in the Chambersburg Area for many years, she later taught through the homebound instruction curriculum.
Her husband, Charles EDward Wiestling, died July 11, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Betty W. (Mrs. Lyle E.) Bowers of Chambersburg.
A son preceded her in death.
