Jessie M. Bryant, 70 of Fairfield died at 6:12 PM, Friday June 13, 2014 at Deaconess Gateway Heart Hospital in Newburgh, IN.
Jessie was born on Oct 18, 1943 in Sims, IL to Rannie and Flora (Morris) White. She married Leslie Bryant on September 4, 1966.
For over fifty years she worked at Wayne County Abstract Company in Fairfield, and was also a member of the Geff Christian Church.
Jessie is survived by her husband Leslie Howard Bryant; a daughter Staci (Ron) Wilson; two grandchildren Whitney and Zachary Wilson, a sister Stella (Tom) Brown; two sister in laws, Alyce Freimuth and Carolyn Heathcock; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Wilma Watson, Imogene Grimes, and Zelda Akers.
Funeral Services for Jessie Bryant will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 AM at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield with Bro. Tom Pope officiating.
A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home and burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to the Oblong Children's Christian Home and will be accepted at the funeral home.
