She and her sister founded a stage company, touring for Argentina, Venezuela and finally Mexico, where they stablished. She also appeared in cinema and television. She is best remembered in works such as El Conde de Montecristo (1942), La Virgen Roja (1943), La Barraca (1945), Canción de Cuna (1953), La Faraona (1955), La Torre de Marfil (1957), Ave sin Nido (1969), Mujercitas (1972), El Hombre del Puente (1975) and El Testamento (1980). In televison, she worked on El Otro, Cuidado con el Ángel, Debiera Haber Obispas, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, Las Máscaras, Mundos Opuestos, Nosotras las Mujeres and En Busca del Paraíso, her last work.
