She was born in Lenore, Idaho, and moved to Tillamook in 1922. She graduated from Tillamook High School in 1933 and married Donald in 1935. She was a member of the Tillamook First Christian Church, sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge, Monday Musical Club and Patch and Snack Club. She lived in Estacada from 1956 to 1959, when she returned to Tillamook. She was a secretary at East Elementary School, retiring in 1980.
Her husband died in 1994 and she moved to Dallas that year.
Survivors include her sons, Lee of Dallas and Frank of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be noon to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Dallas Mortuary Chapel. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Tillamook IOOF Cemetery.
