The remains of Mrs. Chas. J. Larsen of Omaha were brought to Blair Tuesday morning and burial made in the Catholic cemetery.


Effie Josephine McGuire was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McGuire of Omaha. Her parents used to farm south of town on the Fred Long place many years ago.


The deceased was about forty years of age and had been bedfast for a number of months. She leaves her husband and a daughter, Alta Gertrude. Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, John J. and Thomas F. and four sisters, Mrs. John Bleick of Irvington, Mrs. J. J. Anderson, Mrs. Carl Spring and Mrs. Harry Knudsen of Omaha.

In Omaha 37 Years

Mrs. Effie Larson Died at Home After Long Illness


Mrs. Effie McGuire Larson, 40, died Sunday at her home, 3200 North Sixtieth street, after a long illness.

Mrs. Larson was born at Irvington, and came to Omaha with her parents 37 years ago. She was a member of the first class at Benson High School.


Survivors include her husband, Charles J. Larson; a daughter, Gertrude, 12; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McGuire; four sisters, Mrs. Charles A. Spring, Mrs. Harry Knudsen, Mrs. J.K. Henderson of Omaha, and Mrs. John Bleick of Irvington, and two brothers, Thomas and John J. McGuire.


Funeral services will be held at 8:30am Tuesday from the residence to St. Bernard's church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be at Blair
