Died aged 23 years, so evidently born about 1893. Grave is next to (south of) the grave of brother Blanchard ANTHONY.

"The funeral of Griggs ANTHONY, whose death occur[r]ed early Saturday morning at the home of his parents near Flat Rock, was conducted at Midway church yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. Harry S. ALLEN. Interment was made at the church cemetery, the following acted as pallbearers Messrs. H. F. ANTHONY, Ancie [?] ANTHONY, M. R. COMER, Vilas [?] ANTHONY, O. A. COMER and A. E. ANTHONY."
