Age 67, passed away Friday after a long illness.
He was born July 7, 1905 in Brillion and he had operated a farm in the town of Brillion for several years and operated Schnell's Bar at Askeaton from 1952 until 1966 when he retired due to ill health. From 1949 until 1960 he delivered papers for The Post-Crescent.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; one daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Janis) Willems, Route 1, Greenleaf; two sons, Ronald, Studio City, California; Leon, Route 1, Greenleaf; a brother, Elmer, Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Wolfmeyer, Appleton; Mrs. Edward (Frances) Huebner, Brillion; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Askeaton. Interment will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday and there will be a prayer service Sunday at 8 p.m.
