Sharon Gail (Hillier) Miller, 66, passed away October 11, 2013 at Akron City Hospital.

She was born in Akron on September 14, 1947 to Harry and Doris Hillier. She attended Akron City Schools, but graduated from Norton High School in 1965. Sharon attended Lakeland Community College and Virginia Tech for nursing. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 27 years. Sharon will be remembered for her devotion to her family and for her wonderful sense of humor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe in 1997; daughter, Amy in 1971; and her brother, Harry Hillier Jr. She is survived by daughters, Tammy (Daniel) Ingham of Norton, Leslie (Darrin) Yen of Akron; six very special grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Ciriello and Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd. in Fairlawn, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
