John Lee Hill Sr., 68, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died on May 31st 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Sheridan, WY after a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Greeley, CO on November 10th 1945 to Harry A. and Lenora A. (Ward) Hill.
John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and being in the great outdoors. He was an avid Denver Broncos Fan. He served in the Army and was stationed in Berlin, Germany.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters (Loise Belle Tracy and Betty Croft) and brothers Max, David and William Hill.
Survivors are his son John Lee Hill Jr. of Sheridan WY and two step- daughters Karyn (Don) Bloom of Sheridan and Jennie (Josh) Busenbark of Laurel MT: Brothers Vern and Larry Hill. Grandchildren include Lucas and Davis Bloom of Sheridan, Clara and Carson Busenbark of Laurel. Nephews include Shawn and Wade Hill of Bozeman MT, Jeremy Hill of Orlando FL, Zayne Hill of Colorado, and longtime friend Iris Champlin of Laurel, MT.
A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of John at 1:00pm on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in Kendrick Park (Bears Den). Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
