WALTER V LENTZ ESQ
The funeral of Walter V Lentz, who died on Friday last, took place yesterday afternoon from the residence of his mother Mrs. S Lentz, 621 Grace Street. His age was 48 years and 4 months. There was a large attendance of friends, among them an Uncle Mr. Shaffer of Northumberland County. The interment was made in Wildwood Cemetery. Walter V Lentz was a man who will be sincerely mourned by all who were acquainted with him, for his manly virtues and his superior character in general. He read law at the offices of Charles K Geddes before he was admitted to the Lycoming Bar, then he went to Chicago where he was in the real estate business. He remained there for 10 years returning about a year ago. Not long after the June flood he contracted pneumonia and the typhoid. He leaves a daughter of 12 or 13 years old, on whom he had centered the warmest affection of a pure and honest heart.
