John Patrick Gillespie, 71 years of age, of Elkhorn, Nebraska, died Wednesday, April 11, 1984. He was a farmer, member of St. Patrick’s Church, Elkhorn, and Knights of Columbus, Elkhorn. He never married.

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include aunts, Catherine Nebel, Denver, Colorado; Katherine Gillespie, Omaha; Mary Deane Cunningham, County Donegal, Ireland; Cousins, Peter J. Gillespie, Patrick J. Gillespie, Mrs. Anne Johnston, Margaret Nebel Bates, all of Omaha; Frank Nebel, Lincoln; James Nebel, Imogene, Iowa; Kay Nebel, Gerald Nebel, William Nebel, all of Denver, Colorado; Mrs. Mary Daugherty, and John Carr, both of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Parish rosary was Friday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus held special services at 6:45 p.m., Friday, April 13.

Burial was in the Blair Holy Cross Cemetery.

John E. Johnston & Son of Omaha, handled the arrangements.
