MAUDE CHAMP of this city filed suit for divorce yesterday against Henry W. Champ, alleging cruelty, desertion and non-support as her grounds for action. The couple were married July 1, 1912. There is one child, whose custody the plaintiff asks.

(Five months after filing for divorce, Frances dies)
Mrs. Maude Champ, aged 27 years, died Saturday night in this city. The funeral will be held from the Stricklin parlors tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, Rev. W. J. Sharp officiating and interment being in the Mt. View burial park.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Henry W. Champ and one son, Morris, aged 6. Her mother, Mrs. G. R. Tolliver, and three brothers and a sister also survive. She was a member of Cullinary Alliance No. 316, which organization will furnish pallbearears. Before coming to Centralia, Mrs. Champ was a resident of Pe Eli.
