Franklin Pierce Allison, 78, died of pneumonia at his home in Cookeville, Route 2, Monday morning. A lifelong resident of the community in which he died. Mr. Allison was the son of the late Robert S. and Mary Lowe Allison. He was a retired farmer.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Cookeville Free Will Baptist Church Officiating were Fowler Montgomery and Alva Hall. Mr. Allison was a member if the Gentry’s Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
He was married to the former Miss Eura Gentry, who survives.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by one daughter. Miss Jewel Allison of Cookeville, Rt. 2, and one son, Odell Allison of Orlando, FL; a brother, George Allison of Detroit; and a halfsister, Mrs. Dow Maddux of Cookeville, Route 2.
