Birth: Apr. 22, 1786
Worcester County
Massachusetts, USA
Death: Jan. 9, 1876
Utah County
Utah, USA

There is some disagreement on the birth date of Jacob Hatch - According to the Payson Ward LDS records, he was born 22 April 1786, however, his military records state he was born 20 April 1773. No original record of his birth has been found.

The story is told of him riding his bicycle from Payson to Salt Lake City at the age of 102, but depending upon which birth date is right, he might not have been that old. :)

John always said he fought in the Battle of LittleSandy, Sackets Harbor in 1814. He applied for Pension Lands, but was unableto prove he had been in the Battle.
