PRINCETON — Clarice Mills Quick, 90, of The Havens in Princeton, formerly of 354 Quail Valley, died Friday, October 05, 2012, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born in Oak Hill, W.Va., September 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Amanda DeLung Mills.
She was a member of the Princeton Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Hampton Quick; four brothers, and four sisters.
Survivors include one son, Steven B. Quick and his wife Beverly of Bent Mountain in Athens; two daughters, Barbara Erdelyi and her husband Ben of Claytor Lake, Va., and Patricia Quick of Cary, N.C.; four grandchildren, Michael Clark and his wife Debbie of Winston-Salem, N.C., Kimberly Lester and her husband Troy of Hardy, Va., Heather Wiltshire Bailey and Chase Wiltshire and his wife Katie all of Cary, N.C.; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at the George W. Seaver Chapel of Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Ed. Pettus officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Pallbearers will be Chase Wiltshire, Michael Clark, Tyler Clark, Troy Lester, Shane Lester and Jeremy Lester. Friends may call at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton from 2:00 p.m. to the service hour on Tuesday.
