JOHN GEORGE HOKE, 84, formerly of 658 N. Prospect St., died at Colton Manor Nursing Home early Friday morning.
Born in Wheeling, W. Va., he was a son of John and Bertha Shaller Hoke. He was a member of the Church of God, Clear Spring.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Edna R. Iseminger Hoke; daughters, Mrs. Marie A. Fuller, Williamsport; Mrs. Catherine L. Gazoorian and Mrs. Mary J. McCauley, both of Hagerstown; sons, Donald H., Eugene A., and Ralph J. Hoke, all of Hagerstown; Robert N. Hoke, Maugansville; and John R. Hoke, Natick, Mass.; sister, Mrs. Edith Gouse, Boiling Springs, Pa.; brother, Frank Hoke, Boiling Springs, Pa.; 22 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services Monday at 2 pm at Rest Haven Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert E. Timmons will officiate; burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.
