Riverton-Monte K. Beck checked out of this world fighting and scratching all the way, A Legend in his own mind of Cancer. He died Dec.30, 2001 at his home. He was brought into this world Sept. 3, 1946 by his earthly parents Raymond S. and Ruth Bateman Beck. he had an earthly brother Raymond (Margaret), Providence, Ut. He had two sons Monte Shane, (Ann Marie) Jeremy Alan, (Michelle, Murray, grandchildren, Nicholas, Camille, April, and Crystal. A Girlfriend Karen Gustaveson. Preceded in death by his Father. Special thanks to Hospice and dear friend Rex and Peggie Nelson. Monte was a brother to all people and he lived his life as such, Monte wanted the best for his sons, he wanted them to achieve things in his life he had not. Monte will be missed by all his friends. Funeral services will be held Sat. at 11 a.m. at the Oquirrh 1st Ward 12830 So. 2700 W. Friends may call Fri. eve from 6-8 P.M. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and on Sat. one hour prior at the church. Interment in the Lake Hills Cemetery."
