Gage is the son of Michael Lee and Monica Elaine Saah Stevens of Frederick County, Virginia. He was a kindergarten student at Redbud Run Elementary and formerly attended preschool at Braddock Street United Methodist Church. He was a member of Frederick County American Little League and the Blue Ridge Youth Soccer Association. He attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
Surviving with his parents, is a sister, Holly J. Stevens of Frederick County, grandparents, Mary E, Saah of Winchester, Virginia and Charles H. and Mary C. Mathias of Middletown, Virginia, great grandmother of Council, Virginia, aunts and uncles, Gregory and Lisa Harmon of Richmond, Virginia, and Gregory Saah of Deltona, Florida: cousins, Andrew, Matthew and Taylor Harmon all of Richmond, Virginia. His grandfather Sam Saah and great grandmothers, Mary Atchison, and Clarice Thorne preceeded him in death.
