R. B. TEMPLETON DIED SUNDAY OF HEART ATTACK. FUNERAL SERVICES TUESDAY

R. B. Templeton, 59, owner of the R. B. Templeton Garage in Blair, died Sunday of a heart attack.
Mr. Templeton and Jennings West, Herman, left Blair about 8:30 o’clock yesterday morning for Hot Springs, Ark., on a vacation trip. They stopped at the Union Station in Omaha for a cup of coffee, and when they returned to their car to continue their trip, Mr. Templeton complained of feeling ill.
Mr. West had the Omaha Rescue Squad called, but Mr. Templeton died before they reached a hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 o’clock at the Campbell Mortuary, the Rev. Edward O’Donnell officiating, with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight (Monday) at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Templeton is survived by two sons, Robert, who is employed at the garage; and John, a senior at Blair High School; one daughter, Mrs. Donald Fournier (Sheila) of Lincoln; two brothers, Kenneth Templeton of Denver and Paul Templeton of Trinidad, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Howard (Mary) and Mrs. Sherman Longston (Jesse), both of Denver; and Mrs. Norman Schmidt (Eloise) of Richland, Wash.
Mr. Templeton was born July 21, 1898, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Templeton, Burt County pioneers. He was educated in the Tekamah Schools, and prior to moving to Blair in 1941, owned and operated a garage in Tekamah.
He was a veteran of World War I.
Mrs. Templeton died in January, 1955.
