Mr. Allen Carol (AC) Lee, 77, went to be with his Lord on December 29, 2005. Mr. Lee was the founder and President of Plywood, Inc., a major supplier of doors and other lumber materials to Holiday Inn for many years during the time his brother in law, Mr. Kemmons Wilson, was CEO of Holiday Inn.

Mr. Lee was a long time member of Bartlett United Methodist Church and a regular member of Normal B.G. Lodge No 722, F & A.M. He also served in the United States Army.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Mildred Lee; three children, Glen Allen Lee, Ken Murry Lee and Lynn Lee Thompson; two sisters, Margaret Richardson and Ruby Owings; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral services were conducted at Forest Hill Funeral Home East by his Pastor to an overflowing crowd of family members and many friends. Mr. Lee was buried on the grounds.

Mr. Lee was a true gentleman and well liked by everyone who knew him. He was one of my best friends and golfing partner at Farmington Country Club in Germantown, TN, during the 1970s and 1980s. The other members of our foursome were Mr. Hollis Rogers and Mr. Cecil Warde. AC will indeed be missed.
