Mrs. Elimire Marie Bacque.
"Mrs. Elimire Marie Bacque, nee Judice, died at her residence near Lafayette Wednesday, August 17, at 11 a.m., aged 49 years. Funeral services, attended by a large concourse of friends, were held in St. John's Catholic Church at nine o'clock Thursday morning.
Mrs. Bacque was a member of one of the largest families in this parish, and possessed a large number of friends who esteemed her for her many admirable traits of character. She was a devoted wife and mother whose heart was wrapt up in her home, a faithful member of the Catholic Church and a devout and conscientious christian.
The Advertiser joins with many friends in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved father and children".
