Auto Race Car Driver. He made his debut in 1927 driving a Ford T (Standard Category.) He gained national reputation at the 1935 Gran Premio International, which won after an epic drive (for many kilometers he drove in reverse due gearbox failure.) At the end of the season he became Argentine Champion of Carretera.
A polifacetic character (he was also agrimensor, geologist and inventor) Kruuse (nicknamed "El Indio Rubio") retired from motorsport in 1948.
On the day of his 79th birthday, he was at the wheel of his old and faithful 1934 Plymouth (the same car he drove at the 1935 Gran Premio International) accompanied for his wife Juana Arce when a truck hit the car, killing both instantly.
