Cairl and Burley were married in Crawford Co. Arkansas. Their first child was born there. They left Crawford Co. and moved to Glen Pool, Oklahoma where Cairl worked in the oilfield and the next two children were born. They went back to Washington Co. Arkansas and the next two children were born...They then moved to Turkey, Hall Co. Texas. following the crop harvest, and had the next 3 children. They left Turkey in the mid 40's and settled in Silver City, New Mexico and had their last child. Here Cairl worked in the V A Hospital and became a male nurse. After retiring he became a chauffeur. In early 1960 they moved to San Pablo, California, where they lived until their deaths.
Cairl was a jolly fun loving man. He loved to bounce his grandchildren on his knee and sing songs to them (which he usually turned into silly little diddies).
