I believe she can be found on the 1880 US Census for Hope, Williamsburg, South Carolina at age 34 enumerated as M. C. Hutson, living with Saml., 36, M. E., 13, C. E., 10, M. D., 8, and B. A., 6. All were born in SC.
Sent by Find A Grave contributor Sam: Found in the Columbia Record 8 January 1937: Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hutson Hall, 70, who died yesterday at the Columbia hospital, were to be conducted at 5 o'clock this evening at the graveside in Elmwood cemetery. Mrs. Hall was the widow of J. Clarence Hall, who was an engineer on the S. A. L. railway for a number of years. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Frank Andrews, Mt. Airy, N. C.; a niece, Mrs. Daisy Huguoelet; four nephews, S. P. Hoffman, Columbia, Wade Hoffman, Jacksonville, J. C. Hoffman, Ridgeway and F. E. Andrews, Columbia.
Note: she is buried behind her husband in the plot photograph. Her marker is not visible. The markers that are visible are her mother's and her brother, Marvin's.
