Tuesday evening at the Mary Hitchcock Memorial
Hospital in Hanover, N.H., will be held Friday
at 2p.m. at the Davis Memorial Chapel in Springfield.
The Rev. Sang Hahn, pastor of the United Methodist
Church, will officate. Burial be at a later date in
the Weathersfield Bow Cemetery.
Mr. Dana was born in Reading, Nov. 24, 1914, son
of Milton and Addie (Wyman) Dana.
He owned and operated a dairy farm in Weathersfield
most of his life and for the past several years he
was employed by Eric R. Bibens Inc. in North
Springfield.
Mr. Dana was a member of the East Congregational
Church in Weathersfield Bow and was a former member
of the Weathersfield Board of Selectmen.
Survivors include his wife, the former ALice Putnam,
whom he married Nov. 8, 1939, in Hartland; four sons,
Alden Dana of Hartland, Harvey Dana, Donald Dana, both
of Weathersfield, and Ronald Dana of Springfield; two
sisters, Mrs. Pauline Wilkins of Chepachet, R.I., and
Mrs. Eloise Sanderson of Brownsville; a brother, Elmer
Dana of Springfield; 12 grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
and cousins.
There will be no visiting
hours.
Those who wish may make donations to the Springfield
Visiting Nurse Association.
