Our Angel, Shelby Jane Stowell, 3, went to celebrate her birthday with the angels in Heaven on November 1, 2008. She was born November 1, 2005, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Nicole M. Webb and Kelly B. Stowell.
She went to school at the Early Education Center and loved the horses at Reigns of Hope, Hutchinson. She enjoyed reading with her big sister Brittany and her cousin Eranne Lenz. She enjoyed bath time, swinging in her swing, and boat rides with grandpa. She enjoyed spending time with her teachers, Bonnie, Joe, and Dana.
Survivors include: her mom, Nicole Webb, Hutchinson; her dad, Kelly Stowell, Hutchinson; a sister, Brittany Stowell, Hutchinson; maternal grandparents, Angie Webb, Salt Lake City, and Eric Webb, Hutchinson; paternal grandparents, Gwendolen Stowell, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Bryan Stowell, Colorado Springs, Colo.; maternal great-grandparents, Harold Phillips, Judy Webb, and Jerry Webb, all of Hutchinson; paternal great-grandparents, Beverly Smith, Hutchinson, and Fay Smith, Nickerson; a maternal great-great-grandmother, Hazel Connery, Sterling; five aunts, Cara Mullen, Gina Scott, Gale Buckwalter, Becky Starks, and Melissa Harwood; five uncles, Todd Webb, Travis Stowell, James Phillips, David Phillips, and Terry Phillips; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by two maternal great-great-grandmothers, Jane Huey and Sally Phillips, and an uncle, Troy Smith.
Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Kim Biery presiding. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home.
