Katherine Aileen (Center) Buchanan, 78, of Greenville, wife of George E. Buchanan, died on Friday, October 11, 2013. Born in Taylors, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Addie Beatrice (Culbertson) Center. Katherine was a member of Brandon Baptist Church and loved her flower garden. Surviving, in addition to her husband of 61 years, are two daughters, Sharon Campbell (Leland) and Susan Gravely (Randy); four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four sisters, Ruby Peahuff (Joe), Ann Bagwell (Louis), Martha Hill (David), and Vivian Hasty (Jim); and three brothers, Joe Center (Carol), Bobby Center (Cindy), and John Center. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Peahuff. The visitation will be held on Sunday, October, 13, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at each daughters home.
