The Marriage record on 1844 April 18 shows Jarig Anyas Wassenaar age 31 married Akke Jonk Groope age 21 on April 18, 1844 in Het Bildt Netherlands. He emigrated to America and settled in Toledo OH with his family. He was a veteran of the Civil War. He moved to the Old Soldiers and Sailor's Home in Dayton Mar 4, 1878,for needed medical care. His family remained in the home in Toledo. He died February 06, 1893 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., OH.
