WALKER, LOLA DEAN, age 72, of Tellico Plains, passed away unexpectedly 4:02 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at U.T. Medical Center. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, James Walter Gray and Dezzie Lee Day Gray; infant sister, Mary Lena Gray; brother, Lloyd Wayne Gray. Survivors: husband of 54 years, David Jack Walker; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Scott Walker and Tammy Sue Walker, Mark Andre Walker and Michelle "Micki" Walker; grandchildren, Brent Tyler Walker, Braden Matthew Walker, Mason Jeremiah Walker, Kobe Issac Walker, all of Tellico Plains; sisters, Martha Emma Best, of Madisonville, Therma Louise Welch, Anita Joyce Ledford; brothers, Herbert Carl Gray, James Lester Gray, all of Tellico Plains; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service and interment 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Cane Creek Cemetery, Rev. Gennis Best officiating. Friends may call at their convenience 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico Plains.
